Tachometer - RPM Measuring is a free Android app developed by HookShotStudio. It is a handy tool for measuring the revolutions per minute (RPM) of rotary devices. With the app, you can easily visualize and save RPM data of your rotary devices.
The app uses your phone's IMU sensor to perform calculations, so the accuracy of results depends on your phone's sensor resolution. The usage areas of Tachometer - RPM Measuring include calibrating motors, controlling revolution values of record players, phonographs, gramophones, and measuring the revolution per minute for any rotary device.
Features of the app include measuring instant RPM value, calculating average RPM value, and saving results for motor calibration. The maximum value is displayed on the screen, and the average RPM value is reset by clicking an empty position. When the REC button is clicked, recording starts, and registration ends at the next click. The RPM data and measurement time are saved as "RPM_data.csv," which can be accessed from the app's local files.
